Masters Swimming
Masters swimming with Eastleigh & Oaklands encompasses the whole range of ability from casual fitness swimming to highly organised competitive swimming. To qualify as a 'masters' swimmer one needs only to be over 25 years of age, but there are also a number of competitions for younger adults above the age of 18.
During 2007 we had representatives from the club taking part in the county and national masters championships, as well as being selected to represent Hampshire Masters in the Inter-county team event. In the postal timed 30 minute swim, we won two team medals and two individual medals, including two event best distances.
Training
Training specifically for masters takes place on weekday mornings at Oaklands pool, and in the evening at Fleming Park on Fridays and Sundays. For times please see the training timetable.

ASA National Long Course Masters Championships - Taking place in Manchester during 20th-22nd June. All events available, in the pool that was used for the 2002 Commonwealth Games. An entry pack is available.
Hampshire Masters Championships 2008 - These are likely to be Sunday July 13th at Waterlooville, and entry information will be available soon.
South-East Region SC Masters Championships - Taking place at Guildford Spectrum Leisure Centre, Saturday 20th September. 50m, 100m & 200m all strokes, 100m & 200m IM and mixed relays. Entry forms will be available nearer the time.
